Default The usefulness of Water E/Mo?

At the moment I'm a 20 E/Mo of water origin. I've noticed that most people prefer to bring an air ele along for PVP over other types.

The problem is that I love the overall damage and usefullness of my water attacks at the moment (mist form = invulnerablility against Warriors and normal ranger attks and the ability to interrupt skills with maelstrom)

So should I move over and allow at least a few air attacks into my arsenal, making me lose attribute points from other areas (energy storage and healing)? or should I stick to just water magic to make the 2 above skills as strong as possible?

Thanks for the input

You should focus on what you want to do and specialize on a specific element. You can't heal and do damage at the same time. It's desirable to focus and kill the enemy fast. Find someone who is a full time healer to do the job.

But If you really want to bring in a healing spell like breeze, just make healing prayers 8 - i think it's 7 pips. 9 healing doesn't give you any bonus on pips.

organize your skill points according to your skills.

and after readjusting and playing with skill points, play the char quite a bit and see if it satisfies you.

and not all situations will be favorable.

I use to have an elementalist and I love Air in PVP but I Like Fire in PVE and sometimes Earth for Defense... I also want to heal and cast protection prayers. But sadly, it wasn't a good decision to spread the skill points too thin.

Water Ele would be a good one, not a lot of people play that kind.

and the more unique your build the better it will likely surprise the opposition.

Good Luck.

Honestly, Mist Form is junk. Anything that's only meant to keep you alive and not your team while your not a monk is a joke. Ward Vs Harm, now that is gold. Water is fine, you just need to accept that your a support spiker, and you probably can pull off pretty nice combos as a starter, since slowing down a whole group of casters in ward vs melee will setup nicely for a meteor shower from your teamate.

It's all about the team build. The only reason you feel this way is because most PUGs are all about self worth. If you aren't a impact player, PUGs don't want you, because let's face is, are PUGs the type of parties that spend an hour just to organize their team build and such just to play? No, their PUGs. They play on the fly. Therefore, only the most essential things are required. Specifics aren't.
